Blue and White Calico
Sandringham Mug
A formal mug shape with a raised foot and curved handle. The Blue and White Calico decoration is cut and applied by hand, allowing the design to respond individually to the stepped form. The craft of the maker is present in each piece. Handmade and individually decorated at Middleport Pottery in Staffordshire, England, each has its own natural variations in colour and pattern.
