Prunus
Taken from a late nineteenth-century archive engraving, Prunus follows flowering branches through blossom, buds and foliage. The asymmetrical design is cut from printed tissue and placed by hand, changing as it passes over rims, wells and curves. No two pieces carry the pattern in precisely the same way.
